Clinical indications
Crownio is engineered for individualized care across positional skull deformities.
Plagiocephaly
Plagiocephaly is an asymmetric flattening of an infant’s skull that can affect the overall head shape and may also contribute to asymmetry of the facial features.
Brachycephaly
Brachycephaly is characterized by symmetrical flattening across the back of an infant’s head, giving the skull a shorter and wider appearance. In some cases, the forehead may also appear more prominent.
crowniO design & Materials
Engineered for infant comfort.
Built for clinical durability.
Lightweight structure
Crownio's reduced structural load minimizes strain
on the developing cervical spine, compared to conventional helmets.
Breathable construction
Crownio's polyester mesh outer cover reduces heat and sweating - a leading cause of non-compliance with conventional helmets - improving adherence and outcomes.
Biocompatible padding
Biocompatible Nylon Brush Fabric over closed-cell foam forms the skin-contact surface - formulated for infants 3-18 months, eliminating the irritation common with conventional helmets.
Adjustable fit system
Built from biocompatible structural nylon, Crownio fits a broad range of head circumferences - adjusting to the infant, not the other way around.
